Hello guys! Who went to the Sinulog Festival? How was it?

Globe was there, too, and they brought even more fun and colors to this year’s cultural fest by unveiling the NEXT ACT (Art + Community + Technology)! They gave away exclusive offers, and threw the biggest parties and heart-pumping concerts!

At the center of it all was the Globe “village” in One Mango Avenue Mall, one of Cebu City’s main venue of festivities and fanfare. It was also where the one-stop shop Globe Mobility Store-on-the-Go exhibited its interactive game booths of Tattoo, Globe Prepaid, Globe Postpaid, TM as well as its partners, Cloudfone and Allphones!

The Globe Mobility Store-on-the-Go provided fast processing of Postpaid and broadband applications to customers! It was crazy fun as people danced to the music of alternative rock band Callalily, and the energetic mix sets of four of the country’s best DJs and GEN3 NEXT ACT ambassadors: DJs Mars Miranda, Callum David, Badkiss, and Eric Capili.

And the fun didn’t just end with that! Globe hosted a more family-oriented activity, too! There were variety shows graced by actor Xian Lim featuring games, dance contests, and a “Kalokalike” (celebrity look-alike) competition. The best part? The registration for the event was free!

Globe didn’t stop at one location.

Globe Prepaid brought Pinoy bands Sponge Cola and Radioactive Sago Project, plus Taken by Cars, DJ Jess Milner, DJ Aaron Atayde, and DJ Mars Miranda to the Load Up Session at #GlobePrepaidHangout event at Mango Square. TM brought its "Republikaravan" Concert at Gaisano Bowlingplex top-billed by Parokya ni Edgar.

Of course, the wonderful experience would not be complete without freebies! Globe Prepaid gave away free Sinulog tumblers for those who loaded P150 and registered to GoSurf50. They also had a chance to win an overnight hotel stay for 4 at Crimson Resort & Spa by posting and sharing their photos with the hashtag #GlobePrepaidHangout.

Globe Postpaid and Tattoo Nomadic, meanwhile, offered affordable phone and tablet bundles, while Tattoo@Home rewarded subscribers with a P500 Sodexo gift certificate for every successfully installed broadband application received from January 12 to 18, 2015.

This year’s Sinulog fest was a blast! And I thank Globe for adding more spice and awesomeness to it! Until my next post! Happy weekend, guys!
