Stagefright is a recently disclosed Android flaw found in Google's Android operating system.

Specifically crafted malicious MMS (Multimedia Message Service) are sent to the target device. You don't even have to open the MMS for the attack to happen.

All the data on your device are at risk. The hacker can now take control of your device.

Here's how to protect your Andriod device:

Disable AUTO RETRIEVE of MMS on your Android device and consider blocking MMS from unknown senders.

Go to your Messages then Select Settings and locate "Multimedia Message" or MMS. Under that, locate "AUTO RETRIEVE" and disable it.
