The BlackBerry Venice phone is said to arrive in November accodring to Evan Blass who is a known prolific leaker in the tech world. But what makes this news surprising to most BlackBerry fans is that it is said to run on Google's Android OS.

You can clearly see the Google Play logo based on the first image above. Another shows the BlackBerry Hub portal where you can view all your emails, text messages and social network updates. The last image displays the Content Transfer feature for BlackBerry.


Coming from the Mobile World Congress in March, the phone is expected to rock a similar display to other smartphones in the market today like the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, which means that it will most likely have a 5.4 QHD LCD dual-curved touch display. According to rumors, it will be powered by a snapdragon 808 processor and come with 3GB of RAM.
