Having some kind of online presence for your business can surely help in more way than one. One question every business owners ask is how can their brand get discovered. That's where Facebook comes in after revamping Pages with some updates in an effort to help local businesses to do just that.
With Facebook's biggest update to Pages in three years, companies will be able to advertise their products and services and drive numbers through CTA (call-to-action) buttons. Customers will be able to book appointments or make purchases directly from their smartphones.
Compared to building a website or a dedicated mobile app, setting up your own Facebook Page is free. With the new changes found on Facebook Pages, not only will it look more like a regular website but also get a cool feature called "Nearby Places", which lets customers find businesses near them by category. Once a customer is near or visiting a business establishment, they'll get a pop up from the app showing "Place Tips". Besides Google or Yelp, people now has a new alternative to search and discover businesses by using Pages.
