Something very special was cooking at Chelsea Cafe last Thursday. A quaint little place along Serendra Piazza, Chelsea Cafe served as the venue for the launch of GlobeGoWifi, the latest innovation that lets everyone enjoy ultra-fast WiFi speeds.
Starting Nov. 26, if you happen to be in Serendra, simply enable your mobile phone’s WiFi setting and select GlobeGoWifi or GlobeGoWifi Plus. Once you’re done with the set-up process you’ll be able to connect to our ultra-fast trial WiFi, and your browsing exprience will never be the same again. Trust me.
So how did we celebrate this wonderful occasion? By indulging in an activity that everyone loves – food photography.
For the event we invited food bloggers and enthusiasts to join us. The event kicked off with a brief introduction by Mr. Gilbert Simpao, Senior Vice President for Consumer Broadband. Then the next speaker came on-stage, none other than Jo Avila himself!
Jo Avila discussing his personal rule that cannot be broken. Hmm... makes sense.
Jo is one of the most sought-after professional food photographers in the country. He’s been teaching his passion for years, and yesterday we were lucky to be seated in front of him as he shared his wonderful tips on how to snap food photos in such a way that would make anybody feel hungry, even after they just had a full lunch!
After Jo’s short talk, everyone was given the chance to try out their hand after learning from the master photographer’s tricks of the trade. We wrapped up the event with prizes, giveaways and, of course, good food compliments of Chelsea Cafe.
Now that GlobeGoWifi has officially launched, I suggest everyone to visit Serendra Piazza and experience ultra-fast WiFi speeds made possible only by Globe. Snap a photo or two with your friends while you’re there. Who knows? You might even get a free digital connector from Globe.
So Globe pals, until our next event!
