Is your sim a postpaid line or prepaid line?
For postpaid line if it's a new line usually sim is activated 24 to 48 hours.
For postpaid re-contracting you need to call the hotline for activation of the sim all you need is the 16-digit serial number.
For prepaid if no service try all the basic troubleshooting like turning off and on, taking out your sim and reinsert it. If not yet working try inserting sim to other devices to check if its the sim that is not working and also try other sim on your phone to test if your phone is working properly.
If all of this methods are done and still the same please go to the nearest globe store for them to check the sim if the sim is defective they will replace it.
