    How do I know if a replacement SIM is activated?


      I got my replacement SIM at Globe Ayala Center Cebu after reporting the loss of my original prepaid SIM. I'm a bit confused on how this SIM (an 'upgrade SIM') is activated, the instructions booklet says that I should get an upgrade code using my original SIM, but how on earth could I receive such when my SIM was lost? I've been told at Globe that I should wait for 24-48 hrs for the activation, but the period has already lapsed and the SIM still seems to be not activated; keeps on asking for the upgrade code.
