Have you tried calling Customer Service po? Call them at (02)730-1000 using a landline or 211 using a Globe Mobile for validation.
Calling the Customer Service hotline is not much of a help. I have the same problem and I was told the same thing. They want us to spend more for their expensive services. Oh! And I also went to a a globe store and I was told that letting the SIM to be deactivated is equivalent to voiding the warranty. Which was not discussed when we bought the globe at home unit.
