After 5 years as a loyal Globe Broadband customer, the landline and internet stopped working on the 13th October. As the service had failed about 5 times, I was offered a free new installation connected to a different cabinet. But when technicians arrived on 30th October, they advised that there was no alternative cabinet available. I had already been offered a free upgrade to a fiber connection, but this was discovered to be unavailable. Having then been offered a swap to LTE instead, this was also confirmed as being unavailable on 31st October. With no further options left, Globe could not provide me with a reliable service any longer and I have been forced to cancel my subscription. I find this somewhat unbelievable. I have applied for a line with PLDT and can only hope, that they can provide the service that Globe apparently cannot.
