It happened to me before and their excuse was "network maintenance" or "upgrade"
It could be a lot of reasons though, both network and/or equipment related and It would help if you could be specific as to your place, type of subscription and equipment so Globe would be able to address it accordingly.
Are you using a modem with antenna or without antenna. It could be the modem needs an antena backup for the signal. It happend to me too this May. Try to call a technician, They could check it much better.
If you are a DSL
Yes @ChitoReyes is right. There could be an ongoing system upgrade.
