Maybe it's the resolution you used is not suited to the built-in player. Try to record a video in any types of resolution or pixel, or format. Reset your camera settings to default to know the difference. Apps doesn't have any problem to play 'coz it is generated by publisher to read any types of videos at any size. If this could not help you, better bring your device to the store you brought it for them to fix about your concern.
Go to Settings>Manage Applications/Application Manager> All Applications
locate the Camera App then Clear Data and Cache
Locate your built in Video Player or the Video Player that has a Problem then Clear Data and Cache
Then try to record a video and play it again. If the problem still persist, you can claim for Warranty.
