This is the first time I've read this kind of issue. Maybe this is a factory defect on the LED display. Great that you was able to notice this on the 1st day.
Yep, let the Globe store check the device. If it is a software issue they can fix that by restoring your phone back to factory default.
This is known issue on the old initial firmware that shipped. Install the latest OTA updates (Settings > About > Software updates) and the issue will go away.
