3G signal of Globe is really awful.

We don't have a stable 3G signal in Laguna.

I still have 7  months to stay with them because of my 24-month contract, I can't wait to change network. :smileyhappy:

To be fair, some areas of Laguna have great 3G signal... I do a lot of surfing in Calamba, Los Banos, Sta. Cruz, Pagsanjan and even Lumban. The National Road seems to be covered also as I would often check traffic conditions and read the news while travelling.

There are a lot of causes why one cannot use 3G. While the reason could be network related, some could also be unit related. I gave away my (now old) iPhone 3G simply because it could not lock to a 3G network reliably as it would always be bumped off to EDGE or a lower form of data because of the limitation of the firmware (Setting is only up to 3G preferred and no "3G Only"). I don't know about the newer iphones now.
