    Recontracting/Upgrading

      i want some advise from the Globe Community

      i'm planning to pay the remaining months of my 24 month lock in period.
      the last time i called them through Hotline
      they said im qualified for recontracting but only when i pay the remaining balance for my lock in. (which im willing to pay)
      my plan is Plan 999 with Credit Limit of 2000
      the CSR also told me that im Qualified to upgrade my Plan to 1799
      and im planning to get the Samsung Note 3 only.

      i already asked the CSR on how much will i settle so i could recontract

      so here are my questions.

      1. is it advisable if i pay the remaining balance at a Globe Store (SM Fairview Branch) then inform the sales person at the account section of my intention for recontracting and availing the Note 3?

      2. will i have to wait for 2-3 working days before it reflect on the system that i settled the remaining months on my lock in period? even though i will pay on the Globe Store

      3. i know patience is a virtue but how long will it take me to wait to know if when will i get the unit? especially on Globe Store SM Fairview

          Hi @iamamiel !

           

          Paying the balance is okay. Because you are paying for a future transaction, I'm just not sure how it will be tagged (maybe as an overpayment or a credited amount at first).

           

          It should be credited and posted immediately to your account.

           

          I would think only the Loyalty Department will know when stocks will be delivered. Phone may be too in demand and may run out of stock any time. :smileyhappy:

            Hello there,

            1. Yes you can pay the balance there,pero inform first the agent of your intention for recontracting so he/she can double check baka mamaya mali info ang binigay ng hotline.

             

            2. That would depend, if gbc magasikaso pwedeng reflect agad if si hotline it will take time.

             

            3.  Depende ulit, if si hotline maghadle 15 days pa before madeliver yung handset once approved na recontrating mo at depende din kung may available na unit that time

              Based on my experience, wala pa isang araw nagreflect na agad yung binayaran ko sa Globe center. Pagkabayad mo, wait ka ng 12 hours siguro,. then call ka agad sa hotline.

                Same situation with me nagbayad din ako ng pre-termination fee + admin fee to upgrade my Plan 999 to Plan 1799 with handset Note 3. Ininform ko yung sales person from GBC na yung payment ko is for pay-off fee and nag intay lang ako ng 1 day call back ako sa hotline for recontracting and upon checking sa account ko ng reward specialist nagreflect na yung payment ko and nagproceed na kami for recontracting. After that ininform ako ng reward specialist na within 7-10 working days ang delivery ng handset outside Metro Manila and 5 working days within Metro Manila. But don't expect na dadating yung handset mo ontime kase indemand ang Note 3 nagkakaubusan ng stocks pati ng LTE Sim.
