    Globe's prepaid, postpaid pricing details for new iPhones are in!

      And what we have all been waiting for:

      The biggest news from the telco company is its newly launched iPhone upgrade program, appropriately called Globe iPhone Forever, which basically lets Globe users upgrade to a new iPhone every year, hence allowing them to remain iFans for the foreseeable future.

      The program is open to both new and existing subscribers and allows them to trade in their current device for one of Apple's latest smartphones either for free or at a reduced cost, depending on the unit being traded in.

      Take note that the cash-out can be paid via cash or credit card (straight charge or up to 24 months at 0% installment in participating banks).

      For as low as iPhone Forever Plan 1599, customers can get the base model (16GB) of the iPhone 5c minus the cash-out but with a 24-month contract. The plan is bundled with 1GB of LTE usage per month, along with a monthly consumable amount for call and text services.

      Of course, those who want the best iPhone experience would have to shell out a bit more for the iPhone 5s. The 16GB model is free on Globe's iPhone Forever Plan 1999 under a lock-in period of 24 months. It also comes with 1GB of LTE usage and a set amount for calls and texts.

      Higher-value postpaid plans under Globe's iPhone Forever program include the following:

      - iPhone Forever Plan 2999, which offers a free 16GB iPhone 5s, unlimited LTE and calls and texts to Globe/TM users, plus a monthly consumable amount for calls and texts to other networks;

      - iPhone Forever Plan 5599, which comes with either a free 32GB iPhone 5c or 32GB iPhone 5s and unlimited LTE and calls and texts to all networks, plus Platinum Blue membership under Globe's Platinum
      service; and

      - iPhone Forever Plan 6999, which comes with a free 64GB iPhone 5s, unlimited LTE and calls and texts to all networks, and a P1,000 monthly consumable amount for landline calls, international and roaming services, plus Platinum Blue membership under Globe's Platinum service.

      Subscribers with a Platinum Blue membership are entitled to upscale services, including a dedicated hotline, priority handling at Globe Stores, discounts and privileges at partner establishments, and nationwide concierge assistance.

      The telco is also throwing in a one-month subscription to Globe Gadget Care, which provides insurance coverage against theft and accidental damage. Customers who avail of either one of the new iPhones on launch day, November 15, likewise get a free one-year subscription to GCash Virtual Pay and up to 50 percent off on iPhone accessories.

      As is the case with last year's iPhone 5, the iPhone 5c and 5s are available under Globe mySuperPlan. The iPhone 5c can be yours for free for as low P1,799 monthly. That's under Plan 999 with a per-month cash-out of P800. On the other hand, the iPhone 5s is free for P2,199 per month under Plan 1799 with a monthly cash-out of P400. Both postpaid offers are bundled with unlimited LTE and consumable amounts for calls and texts.

      Of course, if you prefer not being tied to a carrier contract, there's always the option of going prepaid.
