On my first attempt to create an account, I typed in my account number and clicked on "send code". I did not receive the e-mail that should have contained the verification code so I clicked on send or resend. The e-mail never arrived. Somehow my account was added but had the status, unverified. As I did not get the e-mail for the verification code, I removed the account and tried to add back the account. That was when I got the error message "We cannot find the account you are trying to enroll. Please check your entry and try again."
I called customer support and was told to keep trying.... I find that unacceptable.
