Even you got the message saying that you had reached the 800MB limit, you can still browse but your browsing speed will be smaller. Normal speed will be back the next day.
This is one of the reason why I am using SUN or SMART for internet. Sa Unli ng Globe you get only 800MB after that magiging mabagal na which I think di papalo sa 20kbps after the limit. This is just good for 1HD movie baka nga kulang pa. I think globe should think of revising their Fair Usage Policy kasi panahon pa ni Mahatma un and be true to their system upgrade kasi if they are upgrading then they shoulbe be able to accommodate increasing demand for internet use. The FUP is actually intended to give fair chances to all subscriber to have the speed they need but if they are upgrading then they can accommodate the need for of their subscriber without the need of providing cap to internet use.
I understand there FUP but that doesn't explains why they call it unlimited? Yes you can still browse but (barely) it takes forever just to open google.I'm using there 7.2 mbps device and after consuming the allotted mbps per day I run a speedtest and I'm only getting 0.05mbps which is worst than dial up connection. I suggest you read there FUP and you will be amaze on what there suggesting and that was upgrading your service to the next level which will cost you more! I just cant believe that there offering such service, its deceiving! Suggestion lang instead of using the word unlimited, why not 800mbps per day so that no more customer will expect that they can use there internet without limit.
