But have you received any notification that you are registered to the promo? If yes you should be able to connect to internet thus if cant connect just need to do basic trouble shooting. But if you havent received any message but you still have load (thinking that this is prepaid) the registration havent pushed tru. Or maybe you gotten that kind of message because the promo is not available when you tried to subscribe.
