For some reason, the internet was pretty bad yesterday. Today, it's a lot better. Maybe it's just one of those days. Observe it for a while.
Same here in my location before I was getting around 3Mbps when I tether my Blackberry to my computer now I can't hardly get 1Mbps same with our pocket wifi. The ping is horrible it shows 890ms. Already reported this problem all they say is wait 5-7 days and it;s already been a month now.
goodluck for that...
hi @bojo111try to conduct some BTS .
*first refresh your device , pull out the sim card and battery , put it back for atleast 5-10 secs .
*connect your device to desktop/loptop
*open your browser , and input 192.168.1.1 on the address bar .
then you will see the interface of globe tattoo .
then just put admin for the username and for the password.
*go to settings>quick set up wizard>just click next , til finish>continue>
*back to settings>look for dial up>mobile network settings>preferred mode should be wcdma only or 3G only>if its already in 3G only/wcdma only try to switch wcdma preferred or 3G preferred>then back to connection>click connect and then try the service once again if its already connected>once already connected switch back again connection mode to automatic
then check the APN
under settings > dial up > Profile management > then Look for APn it should be internet.globe.com.ph
try to connect again
APN Should be http.globe.com.ph for prepaid
Can you verify if this is still an issue? If yes, can I ask you something to further understand your case:
1. Model of your Pocket Wifi
2. Signal Strength where you try to connect to the internet (signal bar)
3. I understand you are using Prepaid, so APN should be http.globe.com.ph (internet.globe.com.ph is for postpaid)
APN should be http.globe.com.ph since you are using Prepaid SIM
if still not working, you can try your sim card to other device which is a mobile phone and use the correct APN settings
Name : Myglobe Inet
Access Point Name (APN) : http.globe.com.ph...
