Difference between Wimax and Tattoo Sticks

    Moks22

Ask ko lang if ano difference.

Kasi sa wimax up to 2mbps lang.

While mga 7.2Mbps naman sa Tattoo stick

If 3G ang available sa area niyo.

Same lang ba ang magiging speed ng wimax and tattoo stick?

Is wimax really a DSL or broadband?

kasi parang lumabas na same lang. kasi sinasabi ng guy dun sa globe sa SM na check ko daw if may 3G or H+

sa lugar namin sa cp ko. Kasi if meron daw e ayos daw mag wimax if ganun.

If may mali sa sinabi ko. Its ok if itatama niyo. :smileyvery-happy:

In my area, mas mabilis yung Tattoo Stick kesa sa WiMAX.

3G uses different Frequency from WiMAX.

Kung H+ yung area mo, mas okay ata yung tattoo stick kasi pwedeng umabot sa 7.2mbps.

Hi there, Wimax is is a wireless communications standard designed to provide 30 to 40 megabit-per-second data rates and Globe offers it out at 2mbps for commercial and Residential where DSL is currently not available. The 3G Tattoo stick is using what we called High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA)* is an enhanced 3G (third generation) mobile telephony communications protocol in the High-Speed Packet Access (HSPA) family, also dubbed 3.5G, 3G+ or turbo 3G, which allows networks based on Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) to have higher data transfer speeds and capacity. Current HSDPA deployments support down-link speeds of up to 42 Mbit/s.

Determining on international speeds. HSDPA is much better than wimax, even in local speed 2mbps vs. 21 mbps
but globe have FUP having their tattoo stick with 800mb/day while Wimax depends on plan. "My plan 2mbps 1299 is 5gb/day"

Based on reliability, The ping of globe.com.ph on wimax is much stabler than a tattoo stick.

It totally depends on your usage. For me i would pick Wimax as of the moment because they have 60% reliable speed while tattoo promises minimum 54/kbps or 5kb speed*

              *DEPENDS ON THE SIGNAL
