Is it possible to cancel it to get out of the contract? I read somewhere around here that this is possible. Our account has been out of contract since November 2012 but my mother somehow got tricked into re-contracting when an agent called her last November 2013. Now we're having trouble disconnecting the WiMax account.
Also, sorry if this is in the wrong place but I don't see a forum dedicated to WiMax users.
fuzzysway: Try this thread Lock-up Period for Rebates. The thread is for Postpaid Mobile but "lock-up" period for rebates is explained (basically, you should be able to opt-out anytime). Just a thought, has there been any change in your speed? What if what happened was that your account was "recontracted" to a lower plan (thus, at a lower Monthly Service Fee and at a lower speed)?
