try some basic troubleshooting.
check your APN. (settings - network and connections - mobile networks - access point names. APN for prepaid: http.globe.com.ph APN for postpaid: internet.globa.com.ph)
manual selection of network (settings - network and connections - mobile networks - network mode - search then tap Globe or the likes)
switch network mode (settings - network and connections - mobile networks - network mode - switch from one option to another.
hard reset (pull out batt and sim)
this would do for both of your concerns.
Check your internet settings. Always make sure that you have correct APN settings such as "internet.globe.com.ph" for postpaid and "http.globe.com.ph" for prepaid. Also check that your Data Service is Activated. "H","H+","3G","E", or "G" signal indicator should be visible beside your network signal bar.
For your SMS complaints. Try to do some troubleshooting such as; turning your device power Off and On, Remove your Battery and SIM card, You may also try to insert your SIM to other device capable of your SIM to check if you will be having same issue. You may also try to insert other Globe SIM on your phone then check if same problem occur.
If you are all done with these troubleshooting guides and you still have the same problem, just call the globe hotline 211 for Globe Mobile phone or (02)730-1000 using landline for further assistance..
Yes. Please check if the signal indicators. If the signal indicator does not display even you have correct settings and turned mobile data on then. I prefer bringing it to a globe store for them to check your device and troubleshoot it for you. Or if you bought from other store, bring it back there
