    Globe Gadget Care


      Last month, bumili ako ng Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 sa Samsung store and may agent doon na nag-ooffer ng Globe Plans. So, nag-apply ako sa plan 499 and sa gadget care. Yesterday, my phone was stolen and I immediately reported it to globe and doon sa agent. Ang sabi ng globe ipapasuspend daw muna yung plan ko para hindi magamit nung magnanakaw. And I said na nakasubscribe ako sa gadget care nila and sabi nila sakin na hindi na daw nila hawak yung gadget care and ace insurance na daw ang may hawak nun. And pumunta din ako sa Samsung store and kinausap ko yung agent. May binigay siya sa akin na number ng NTC para ipalock na yung phone. And tinanong ko sa kanya kung mapapalitan pa ba yung phone ko since nakasubscribe naman ako sa gadget care, Sabi niya, hindi na daw and ang magagawa lang daw ng gadget care is ipalock yung phone. So, tanong ko lang kung ganun ba talaga yun? Hindi na ba mapapalitan yung phone ko since ang promise ng gadget care nung simula pa lang na mapapalitan nila yung phone ko if ever na masira o mawala? O dahil baka hindi ko binili sa globe yung unit kaya hindi na ito mapapalitan?

          Mobile Insurance would depend on the type of Policy you avail.

          Just in case that your Phone Insurance covered Accidental Loss or Theft, Then you must report the incident to the authority within 24 hours and secure Police Incident report, then contact Ace Insurance Hotline and file Claim.


          Call this toll free number using any Globe Prepaid Sim 180087565400 Monday-Friday (830AM-530PM).

            "I need to file a report and make a claim. What should I do?

            Call the Globe Gadget Care Customer service hotline at (02) 756-5400 or 1-800-8-7565400 toll free, from 8:30am to 5:30pm from Monday to Friday and report the incident. You may also email or log-in to our partner's website at www.aceinsurance.com.ph. ACE Insurance will gladly attend to all your queries.


            Next, download the Gadget Care Claim form and fill it out completely. Then provide all the required documents, (this varies depending on the type of claim applied for), and submit them to Gadget Care through email or fax to begin claims approval.


            Once done, pay any outstanding Globe bill account balance and the corresponding participation fee. Submit the proof of payment via email or fax."

              Since subscribed ka sa gadget care, pwede yan. Pero miss mahabang process bago mapalitan ang phone mo. You have to pay participation fee pa po, I think sa plan 499, its 1.5k. Tapos walang katapusang follow up pa yan. Dont expect na w/in 1 montht andyan na si new phone. Totoo po labas na ang globe sa gadget care kc ang kausap mo ay ung ace insurance.
