shelly do you pay the bill every month? If you permanently cut or cancel your line before your contract ends, you will be liable for pretermination fee. If you're not using your line (as you have said) and you're not paying the monthly bills, then it's already temporarily disconnected. Nevertheless, you will continue to receive your bills.
I suggest you authorize somebody here in PH to transact with Globe for the permanent disconnection BUT you have to pay pretermination fees.
Pretermination fee = cost of the handset less the cash out if there is, divided by 24 months x remaing months of contract. In addition you may have to pay for admin fee of 550
