my roaming sim is still not active until now, what is the problem?

    starman

I change from ordinary sim card to micro sim card and retain the same number but after I came back to Saudi Arabia my roaming activation was lost. I already sent it back to Globe costumer service a number of times already through my friends who went home for vacation and they told me the costumer service representative of GLOBE said the same thing "your roaming is active" but how come until now it is still NOT ACTIVE? Please help. I need to retain the same number because it's very important.

      thank you!

          Hi starman

Since the customer service representative of globe said that the roaming service is active, have you already tried to manual select of network? Below are the list of network operators in Saudi Arabia. You can select any of these network operator.

          • Al Jawal Saudi Telecom (STC)
          • Mobily (Etihad Etisalat Company)
          • ZainSA MTC Saudi Arabia

          For Android:

Go to Settings > More > Mobile Network > Network and Selection > Select Manual > Scan for Available Network.

          For IOS

Go to Settings > Carrier > Manual > Choose Network Operator

          For Blackberry OS10

Go to Settings > Network Connections > Mobile Network > Network Selection Mode > Manual > Scan

          For Blackberry OS7.1 and below

Go to OptionsNetwork Connections > Mobile NetworkNetwork Selection Mode > Manual > Press Scan
