    Frequent Disconnection, is this also happening to you?

      Hi All,

       

      I'm experiencing huge number of disconnection [AGAIN] this past few days. I already called the customer service and they deployed their technicians  to fix my problem TWICE. Unfortunately, the problem was still there. It's just hard to think of it that even early in the morning where the number of internet users was still low, it just keeps on disconnecting even through midnight. You know how annoying it was, you're doing some stuffs then suddenly, the disconnection happens (S**T HAPPENS: ALL THE TIME). Look, I don't want to be rude with their customer service, I know it's not their fault (Nakabisado ko na yung mga sinasabe nila. I swear.). BTW, I have the broadband DSL with 3mbps speed. So, if anyone experienced this and found some solution to fix it other than calling their hotline, please share it. Thanks a lot guys.

              Hi,

               

              I think this one helps, palagay ko andun sa splitter nung ADSL + Landline ang problema. Tinry ko na irekta ung ADSL cable dun sa wall socket for hours at wala naging disconnection. Then nung binalik ko, nag occur ulet, so ngayon pag nadidisconnect, inaalis ko muna ung main chord dun sa wall socket then binabalik ko ulet, di naman na ulet nag ooccur ung problem. Bakit hindi inaadvice ng tech support ng globe to, puro check lang ng frequency ang ginagawa. BTW, thank you for the advice. Thumbs Up..

              jrrioveros take note mo yung time, how many times yung disconnection, and how long it takes for you to reconnect. If you have an old modem (kung meron ka, although this is not advisable ng Globe pero pang troubleshooting lang naman) try mo palitan yung modem mo and input mo lang yung Globe account mo check if you will have the same problem. This will give you basis ano yung cause ng problema mo if Globe network or baka yung modem mo ang may problema.

                  Hi,

                   

                  Thank you po sa advice. Tinry ko na den po magrequest ng new modem nung once na tumawag ako sa tech support nila. Inadvice ako na ok pa naman daw yung modem, then inexplain saken na pag daw di na umiilaw ung ADSL un ung time na kelangan na daw ng replacement, which is mukang totoo naman. Ang nakakapagtaka lang, pag nagrequest ako ng new unit ng modem bakit ishoshoulder ko ung replacement fee nung modem which is parang 1.5k considering na part dapat ng service nila un. Tapos ayun, natuklasan ko na pde din pala solution dito ung dun sa wall socket nung line ung pinagkakabitan ng splitter ng adsl ska landline, inaalis ko lang ung connection ng splitter siguro mga 30 sec-1 min tapos binabalik ko, ayun awa naman di na nag didisconnect.

                      jrrioveros that is good now na nakita mo yung issue is was yung sa main socket pwede mo i-request to have an onsite para ma-check yan. Now sa modem naman, tama yung sinabi ng agent they can only replace the modem for free if found to be defective di ko lang alam how much yung cost. Yung sakin nga sira yung power button pero I am being charged for the replacement kaya ginawaan ko na lang ng paraan although dati naka-request na ako ng replace modem without any charges kasi yung luma ko nag ooverheat.
