    About Spam/Scam text.

Postpaid numbers have a given series and there is a greater probability that these are active as Globe recycles these numbers 6 months after the subscriber terminates their subscription.

They are usually targeted as postpaid subscribers are supposed to have qualified as income generators and are perceived to have sufficient capability to purchase goods and services.

Spam/scam utilize prepaid numbers so even if they are blocked, all one has to do is purchase another prepaid number. There is no way you can stop them right now unless it would be mandatory to have a prepaid sim card registration which many oppose as a an invasion of privacy.
