    GoSurf Question.

    ako.si.raff

Hello! Good Day!

"Example Plan 999 with 1700 PV

      GoSurf999 with 5Gb data - PV 999

      Combo 1 - PV 100

      Combo 2 - PV 100

Total remaining PV for consumables - PV 501

Anti Bill Shock for data - Php 1500 Less GoSurf999 = Php 601

The remaining PV 501 could be applied but an additional Php 100 would be billed on top of the MRF."

      Plan 2499 with 4,400 PV

      GoSurf999 with 5Gb data - PV 999

      Gadget - 1400

      Remaining PV - 2001 PV

      Thanks!

Hi ako.si.raff. As I have verified with the Globe staff member, you will consume your PVs first bago ka macharge on top of your bill with the corresponding cap depende sa GoSurf.

Ex. Consume muna 2001 PV and then you will be charged (by kb used or time blocking) up until you reach the cap of 1500.

          Hope this helps.

Eh kasi diba 2pesos per MB daw? Di ba yung Consumables eh good as PESO din daw yun.

                  iamling143

Sa pagkaka alam ko you can use your PVs to register for GoSurf2499. Sa case ko Plan 1799 with 3200 PV. Minus 1100 PV sa handset so remaining 2100 PV. Ang ginawa ko from GoSurf999 i changed the combo to GoSurf1799, Remaining PV is 300 nalang. have signed up to online account? Pwede mo mamodify yan.

That's good to know para naman hindi masyadong masakit sa bulsa pag on-top scenario.

I was looking at my other account previous statement and its reflecting that hindi sa consumable nabawas ung 2/mb. May unbilled charges ako and scrutinizing it, un ung excess usage ng sa 5 gig. May consumable ako na 601. Hindi po dun nabawas. So, now, which is which?

Ganun pareho sinabi

Yes but once you registered all your remaining consumable to combos walang magagamit for the excess. Kaya dapat magtira ng consumable as regular load. I am trying to figure out how my bill is computed kasi i have remaining regular load pero it was not deducted, instead on top na ung excess charge. I have to wait for the next billing to check it again. As i see it, once exceeded they will charged you the anti bill shock amount, and not 2/mb from the regular load/consumable. Anyway, lets be vigilant about this please and see how it works.

Pag ganyan di nangyayari sayo pede mo pa ayos bill mo.

Sir ano pong plan nyo? 999 or 1799? Is the bill shock applied sa Plan itself or the GoSurf Registration? hehe sorry ngaun lang kasi ako nag go surf with my other line...

                                              • Re: GoSurf Question.
                                                fervish

Kasi sa Plan 1799 which has 3200 PV - 1100 = 2100 - 999 5 Gig GS = 1101. Nag exceed ng data usage. 1500 BS - 999 = 501. Remaining PV 1101-501 = i have now 600 which i can register for combos. Then thus that mean 1799 pa rin ang bill ko? The excess in my usage is billed as unbilled charges while i have still remaining regular consumable at hindi po dun nababawas.

                                                Examples:

Plan 1799 with GoSurf 999 5 Gig (Total PV 3200-1100 Handset)

                                                PV 2100 - 999 GS 5 Gig = 1101 Remaining PV

                                                1500 BS - 999 PV GS = 501

                                                1101 - 500 = 601 remaining consumable for combos

Total bill will still be at 1799 (IF BS 501 WILL BE DEDUCTED SA CONSUMABLE)

                                                ASSUMING ALSO: PLAN 1799

                                                PV 2100 - 999 GS = 1101 Remaining PV

                                                BS 1500 - 1101 RPV = 399

                                                BILL WILL BE AT 1799 + 399 = 2198

                                                HOWEVER UPON CHECKING MY BILL:

                                                Plan 1799 with 999 GS 5 Gig

                                                PV 2100 - 999 = 1101

                                                1500 BS - 999 = 501

                                                Plan 1799 + 501 (ON TOP CHARGED) = 2300 + TAX

Plan 1799 with GoSurf 1799 10 Gig (Total PV 3200-1100 handset)

                                                PV 2100 - 1799 = 301.

                                                3000 BS - 1799 PV 10 Gig GS = 1201

                                                1201 - 301 = 900

                                                Bill will be 1799 + 900 = 2699

                                                Plan 999 with 1100 PV - 999 GS 5 Gig. Remaining 101.

                                                BS 1500 - 999 5 Gig GS= 501.

                                                501 - 101 = 400

                                                Bill will be at 999 + 400 = 1300

Please correct me if i am wrong. Thanks. GlennO joshl

Hi ako.si.raff the 2Peso/MB will be billed/charged on top your monthly recurring fee not on your consumables.

This really needs A LOT OF CLARIFICATION and I have noticed that GLOBE DOES NOT COME OUT with an OFFICIAL POSITION on this and their CSRs give different answers to this query.

If we are to read their terms and conditions, CLEARLY the Consumables INCLUDE calls, texts and SURFING and therefore if the excess is charged ON TOP of the bill despite the fact that there are still unused consumables then GLOBE is VIOLATING its terms and conditions and what is being showed in their FAQs.

                                      fervish

What i am getting from the computation by Globe in my bill is: The regular consumable is used by the 2/MB. Once the regular consumable is used then the Bill Shock comes in. That is why the 501 is charged on top of the plan for GoSurf 999. Parang nakametro muna ung net mo at uubusin ung regular consumable. Pumapatak ung excess data usage mo at kinakain ung regular consumable.

                                      1. For Plan 999 with GoSurf 999 your bill will be at 999+501.

                                      2. For Plan 1799 with GoSurf 999 (5 Gig)  your bill will be at 1799+501. Yes consumable is used so no violation here sa terms. As explained above.

                                      3. For Plan 1799 with 2 GoSurf 999 (10 Gig) your bill will be at 1799+1201. This is not clear also as i have to see my bill as i am really experimenting the computation.

All i am sure and very certain about it is Nos 1 & 2. That's the explanation i can see sa bill ko.

To rest the issue. The excess of 501 is indeed charged ON TOP.

To resurrect the issue... (for Globe),

Why would the excess usage be charged ON TOP of the bill when consumables could be used (in Globe's words), for "calls, texts and surf"?

From About mySUPERPLAN | Postpaid | Help and Support

Wow! So does this mean that 1 Peso Value is equivalent to Php1?

You're right! After choosing your gadgets and combos, the remaining Peso Value – with each one equal to Php1 – will be automatically converted to your consumables.

So if you have 500 remaining Peso Values, you can use those PVs to call, text and surf for a total cost of P500.

And the way I get it as explained in GoSURF | HELP AND SUPPORT (check the question " i like the sound of the bill shock guarantee. How exactly does it work?) The GoSurf subscription cost is ALWAYS deducted from the bill cap amount (Php1500 less 999) and is not taken in its entirety when being billed.

Charging it first to consumables then adding the Php 501 breaks the very essence of the bill cap because the subscribers would actually be paying more than Php 1500.

Haha well it seems Globe does not even understood those terms! Maybe it was just copied and pasted on its site by the web admin! It does bothers me though after those words assurances on its site, its computation is contrary to what its terms says.

The agents were not helpful on this for a fact. We cannot blame them as they were not fully briefed on everything. But as agents they shoud know everything.

Clearly, the bill computation is on top. I am waiting for my other bill for the Plan 1799 with 10 Gig before i'm gonna ring the hotline.

What I'm scared of is they will insist on what they want no matter what is written.

I had a similar experience back in the early 2000's with my case and even met up with one of their top honchos in the legal department (he is still there and has been defending Globe policies like only he can understand it.) Despite all things that I have shown him in black and white including press releases, all he did was to say it is because it is so. End of Story.

That was the time when I thought that they don't really care about their clientele and just think about the enormous income they will receive through confusion and deception. It was a good thing that many other personnel and officers from the company more than made up to make certain arrangements.

Globe through its agents only admit these discrepancies but has never done anything about it. Globe is always right on its own right. Globe clearly disregards its customers. Globe will always defend its side when its policies are questioned by its customers. Transparency was never in its dictionary. The worst thing with them is their agents have been saying different things about a certain policy and when you speak to another agent he would easily say that the other agent is wrong and would apologize for that right away! Nakakairita sa tenga!

There are laws that should protect the customers from these practices by the telecoms but as long as the telecom is paying much taxes then it cannot be touched. Customers are bound by these inconsistencies in their policies but the agency that is suppose to free the customers are not doing its job. Lately, their system has been having issues and the burden of that are shifted to the customers. There was no upgrade to speak of in the first place.

My worst experience with Globe: My first line was messed up. Another mobile number was added. Two mobile numbers in one account. The agents i have been speaking with said that it is not possible. It took me 6 months following it up but i was fed up so i abandoned it and ended up with a bad record with Globe. I can prove them that i did not apply for the account but they won't give me the chance. I asked them to send me the docs used in the new line but they won't send me. Instead they are asking me my documents which i said i won't give cause it can be used against me. I went to the local NTC but nothing happened.

The funny thing is they always insists i have to pay the balance for that account so they can separate it! They care more of their revenue and it shows their greediness! They do not care the trouble it cause to the customer. They will instead asked you for your money!

                                                          Being wonderful is delusional...

I have been reading these lately: DENCIO.COM: Does Globe Really Value Your Loyalty?

Hmmm sa tingin ko magkakaroon to ng kalinawan at magsasalita na mismo Globe kapag kumalat at naging maingay to sa Socila Media, gaya ng FUP nila kaya sumulpot tong GoSurf naging maingay sa Social Media yung FUP nila.
