Based on this thread Can i terminate my postpaid plan in any globe branches? however, the process may even take longer. It's becoming to be burdensome for subscribers like us.

mrscientist29 Jan 29, 2015 7:52 AM (in response to ChitoReyes)I know. Before I have done this and within an hour my line has been terminated and now their response varies. One says within 24 hours and the other is saying within 3 to 5 working days. That is why I want to verify the information.

janperzone Jan 29, 2015 8:04 AM (in response to mrscientist29)Termination of postpaid line should take only for within 24 hours. just call (02) 730-1300 for termination request. this is toll free using yong Globe Postpaid and they are open 8am-10pm

Normally a couple of minutes right after you call Globe Hotline for Permanent Disconnection, They use within 24 hours reason is the request may not take effect as soon as you successfully request, also it allow us with the system that request may take effect not longer than after 24 hours monitoring, but within the 24 hours time clock from the time you requested for Permanent Disconnection.

In fact I have 2 postpaid account with Globe. I just have to cut this one because I will not be needing it anymore. I will update again and wait for the next 24 hours.

janperzone Apr 11, 2016 9:08 AM (in response to ninahai)if you still have family member here in the Philippines you may authorize them by sending letter of authorization, your 1 valid ID and 1 valid ID of your representative. send the documents to [email protected] and have you representative call (02) 730-1300 after 24 hours of sending. or you may call (+63) 2 730-1300 from abroad to verbally authorize your family member to request for termination or you may request to have it terminate over the phone. IDD rates may apply if calling from abroad.
