    Airboost/NEC Femto

      Dear Globe,

       

      I've been a loyal subscriber for more than 10 years and recently, due to the new building GMA 7 put up, the signal inside my office deteriorated. 2 of my friends were able to request for Femtocells because they know someone from globe. Both of them are not platinum and their monthly usage is low.

       

      I'm a platinum status subscriber (not elite). I've tried calling the hotline, business center and the ask globe facebook but I haven't received any reply. The guy who installed the Femtocell in my friends house told me that my account is more than qualified to get one. However, he needs an endorsement to get it approved. Can someone please assist me in getting a much needed Femtocell here in my office?

       

      Moderators of the forum, kindly send me a message if you need my contact number to verify my globe account. Hoping for your kind assistance on this matter as it's really frustrating 2 of my friends were able to get the Femtocells from their contacts but the hotline and business centers cannot provide me with any assistance.

              I appreciate your speedy reply. I tried to click on the contact us and drop them my concern but I cannot send it. The page is saying that I cannot use special character in the text box but I did not put any special character in the text box so I cannot understand.

               

              I tried calling the hotline and going to the business center already. I am now trying this community thing. I am very tired of being redirected to various channels. I am hoping that you can help me by asking someone who is knowledgeable about the Airboost/Femtocell to contact me. Please ask them to email me at [email protected] or 09178588888.

                      Hi holeonard... since you're a platinum subscriber it might be better to get in touch with your relationship manager... they might know more and most of my friends coursed it through them rather than the sales hotline.

                       

                      Take note though that you should have a reliable (and fast) internet connection (dsl or cable regardless of provider although people from sales would try to insist on a Globe dsl) in your place to be able to avail of this service.

                          Hi Chito,

                           

                          Sadly, i'm a platinum status member only not platinum elite as I mentioned in my original post. paulos, yesterday afternoon after seeing your suggestion for me to call 730-1010, I gave them a call and the lady I was talking to was clueless about the femtocell. They then forwarded me to the customer care hotline, who in turn tried to do a research on what I'm talking about and they saw an internal bulletin about it. They then forwarded my call to the platinum hotline. Eden Saligada spent about a good 40 minutes trying to find out which department she should coordinate with for the femtocell request. I believe Globe should educate all employees regarding the femtocell as most are clueless. The bulletin/memo of globe regarding it was also unclear because customer service representatives have no idea which department to coordinate with for our request. They did an escalation report yesterday for my request. I am really hoping that things would get sorted out very soon.

                          I may only share my previous experience when I availed Airboost.

                          I WILL have to agree that you may need to address your valid concern to the proper channel.

                          Call the hotline and report this as a network related concern.

                          My Airboost was installed after five months since I called the hotline in May 2013.
