We are happy to inform our Globe customers that the SMS service to the Smart network is now back to normal. Globe customers sending SMS to a Smart number should encounter no more unusual delays.

Globe Service Advisory
We wish to advise our Globe customers that there is an ongoing connection issue between the Globe and Smart networks. As early as 6 am today, Globe detected that SMS sent by a Globe customer to a Smart number encountered errors, resulting to difficulty or inability to send messages across networks.
Initial investigation done by our network team indicates that the error emanates from the other network. Globe is currently coordinating with Smart to resolve the issue immediately.
We will provide our customers an update as soon as the service is back to normal.
