Have you tried inserting another sim to isolate the problem on whether it is the sim or the phone?
If the other sim works then perhaps your original sim is not active (or not activated) anymore. You may call 211 or 02.7301000 to know the exact status.
If the other sim does not work then it would be better to bring it to an authorized Cherry Mobile service center so they could diagnose the problem.

Just try to troubleshoot first you device.
1.>Ensure that Airplane Mode is disabled.
2.>Scan for available network.
From the Home screen, tap Applications/Apps.
Tap Settings> More Networks>Tap Mobile Networks>Tap Network operators>Tap GLOBE.
3.>Perform Soft Reset.
Press and hold the power key to switch off the device>Tap Power off>Tap OK to switch off the phone.
4.>Remove the battery (depending on the handset unit) and SIM.
- Place the SIM and battery back to device.
- Press and hold the Power key to switch the phone on. Wait until the Home screen appears.
5.> If you have has a spare SIM or device, perform SIM/Phone swapping.
