Check your contract and it would say "UP TO 2 Mbps" so anything above 0 up to 2Mbps would fall under the service parameters and Globe would say that they have not violated anything.
Just call the service hotline if you think you deserve a higher speed and perhaps they could do something about it but definitely Globe will not admit that they have breached anything.
It's too early for this to be considered a Breach of Contract.
I definitely recommend that you call the hotline or visit a Globe Store nearest you and ask Globe Telecom (not Teletubbies) how can this concern be resolved.
you are lucky to have that download speed. please be aware that the advertised speed is in megabits per second. 8 bits = 1 byte. so if you are getting like 300 kilobytes per second as download speed, magdiwang ka na kasi dapat up to 250 kilobytes lang ang dapat na download speed mo.
Your download speed is in line with your subscribe speed. To calculate your download speed in Bytes simply divide it by 8 , that will be your download speed in KiloBytes or MegaBytes .
512 Kbps = 64 KB/s
1 Mbps = 1024 Kbps = 128 KB/s
2 Mbps = 2048 Kbps = 256 KB/s
4 Mbps = 4096 Kbps = 512 KB/s
