Sorry to hijack this thread.
I have this problem also. Every they will just send a technician who god knows what they do and then the internet will work for maybe a week or two, then the problem recurs. That technician tells us that there is a problem with the main box and he is requesting for it to be changed but I dont think that was changed bec we still have this problem.
I also read in another thread about the Carrier Grade NAT (Slow and intermittent connection, planning to upgrade to Tattoo Platinum 10mbps or 20mbps.) which may cause slow connections and disconnections.
If this will not be fixed, we may have no choice but to look to another ISP.
