Hi! I know this is an old post, but I have a few queries since I think I am having the same dilemma. I ordered my sim-only plan online and was delivered to me a couple of days ago. I was expecting an 0917 series, because that's how I thought all Globe postpaid prefixes were. But I ended up getting an 0977, a new prefix which I don't strongly prefer. While my application was on process, I asked if I could choose my own number. The CSA told me that I couldn't. Anyhow, I permitted because I really thought I would get an 0917 prefix.
Now I tried calling the hotline telling me that I had to wait TWO billing cycles before I could finally change my number. What an inconvenience. I was also thinking of cutting my line before the first cycle of billing ends, but will they allow me open a new postpaid account right away? This time I am thinking of doing it in a Globe store rather online. Thanks in advance!
