Why do I have excess text usage charges?

    sprongkly

Why do I have excess text usage charges?  From the looks of it, these are international text messages... I don't text anyone abroad.  Does Globe charge me for messages I receive from my bank, onlineotp or grabtaxi etc? or verification code coming from websites?

          Hi sprongkly?

have you already received the hard or softcopy of your bill?

I have based this off on my January bill.  Screen Shot 2016-02-06 at 4.34.01 PM.png

Also, I have paid 252.12*** a couple of days ago for these excess charges without checking where these are coming.

              *** subtract 56.00 for share-a-load

But today, upon checking my account in GServices, the excess charges now amounts to 261.21.  Doing the math, the difference is 9.09 which is how much an int't text rate costs (see first image).

I don't text anyone abroad and the only text messages I send are mostly to one Globe number only and most messages I get are from Viber and IMessage.  The rest are auto text messages from Grabtaxi, OnlineOTP, MSPhis etc as what I've mentioned earlier

I believe that you may file a billing dispute on this..

let the customer support  check on that specific charge on your account.

well just to make sure that you are not being charge for the services you don't even used.

I usually encountered them under access code 2351 or 2352 based on the support specialists

it means that you're might being charged erroneously..

you've mentioned that you are receiving auto sms from grab taxi, onlineOTP etc.. maybe we have to checked it also to this certain app if they have customer service to entertain our queries on charges.

well.. if this is the case.. it seems that this is a free sms..

can you check what is the senders number?

                    +63 47 228 294.. are we investigating grabtaxi?

Please let us not veer away from my actual problem that I'm being charged for excess text usage -- could be international text mesages -- though I don't text anyone abroad.

Last Sunday, I was so desperate that I requested for permanent disconnection.  I really cannot understand why I’m being charged for international sms I have never sent!  But the CSR gave me the option to have the questionable amount  waived and I’ll will have to keep my postpaid account.

So today at 8:24 PM, I checked how much my unbilled charges was.  I was glad that there were no changes since last Sunday.  The amount shown was still the same questionable amount I complained about last Sunday.

BUT at 10:14 PM, when I accessed my globe account on my desktop, the unbilled charges now amounted to 270.30. And I swear I did not send any international text msg. Checking the details on *143# this is the result:

Who is sending those international text messages and then charging it to my account???  Is there a way for Globe to restrict all outgoing text messages from my postpaid number?  I tried to request for temporary disconnection for my postpaid line but then that wouldn’t solve my problem.  If only Globe can restrict all outgoing messages from my postpaid line then that would help me a lot.  For the meantime, if I have to send an outgoing message, I can just do so with my globe prepaid number. Just please restrict any outgoing messages on my postpaid account.

Now you wouldn’t accuse me of being a liar and tell me those messages are coming from me!!! I wouldn’t ask you to restrict me from sending any messages at all if that were the case.  I am just desperate.  ~300 pesos could afford me maintenance medicines for 1 day for my father!

Please.  Help me get resolution to my problem.  I’m sad that I have to do all these investigation.. aren’t you paid to do this?  Doesn’t my monthly bill partly paying you to do the investigation and find resolution for my problem???
