    upgrading of broadband from Wireless to DSL

      Hello,

       

       

      Does anyone experience of converting your Globe wireless connection to DSL? May additional payment ba kau binayaran? Globe team opted to convert my internet to DSL kc, it's not actually my idea. Sobrang bagal kase ng connection sa area namin and I always report it. They said na over populated na raw ung area namin dahil sa dami ng globe user so best solution daw is to convert my connection to DSL. But there will be additional fee daw and that would be for installation fee which cost P1000. I was disappointed really, because it's not my fault naman why my internet needed to upgrade/convert to DSL eh. It's their fault not mine. Also, di pa kase ako tapos sa pagbayad ng 1000 for installation dun sa wireless and 1200 for wireless phone. Recurring bill q P1800+ kaya sobrang bigat sa akin kung dadagdagan pa nila ung Monthly Recurring fee ko, and come to think na ipupull out nila ung antenna and router then papalitan nila ng normal handset n phone and router parang for me I have already paid for installation fee and wireless landline then suddenly eto may additional fee n naman ako. I hope if ever they convert my internet to DSL sana iadjust n lang ung bill q at wala n installation fee n bayaran for DSL. Kase ano use ng binayaran q nung una for installation feee ng Wireless broadband db? Nka 2nd time n kase ako nkkpag bayad and 1 month n lang tapos n ung installation fee n supposedly for wireless broadband sana. Parang luge yata ako... Imagine halos d magamit ung internet sa bagal and I already asked for rabate kaso hindi nila pinprocesss request q.. Tapos eto additional payment for installation n naman... waaaaaaaaaaahh!! sobrang stressful tong Globe na toh... Tama ba magbayad ako for installation fee of DSL?

       

      I would appreciate your thoughts on this guys...

          ang alam ko meron talagang installation fee lalo na within contract... kaya lang kasi in your case, they can't provide the promised speed na inapply mo.. they should waive the installation fee.

           

          Better call 211 / (02) 730-1000 to inquire and ask for policy exemption about your case

              janperzone, Same answer with the globe csr I talked this morning. Tumawag ulet kasi ako since d ako mapakali nasstress ako sa P1000 n additional sa installation fee. lol! And this time, sabi ng CSR n nakausap ko they should waive the installation fee raw since network connection na ung problema and they failed to provide the promised speed just like you said. Pansin ko iba iba ung sinasabi ng CSR na nakakausap ko, ung first CSR n nakausap ko he said na walang additional payment sa DSL, ung second naman c girl sabi na there will be additional fee sa installation kase ung wire daw babayaran ko then this morning iba naman. Ang gulo nila and ang tagal ng feedback nila about kung may DSL ba sa area namin at kung may slot pa. Anyway, thank you po.

                  new installation, transfer of location at migration to other technology (wireless to wired or vice versa) will have installation fee ang alam ko.. but in your case kasi it was Globe contractor who initiated to migrate your account to Wired dahil sa connection problem mo.. installation fee should be waived... yong sinasabi ng agent na dahil sa wire yong babayaran.. kalukuhan yon.. mag babayad ka lang ng wire if overspan..

                Pwede mong pa-waive yung installation fee, since ang mangyayari is change of service from wireless to DSL aside pa dyan pwede kang humingi ng rebate from the services na hindi mo na gamit sa wireless connection and i-apply yun sa DSL mo. Just make a report since mismong onsite na ang nagsabi na kailangan palitan yung service mo due to network congestion dyan sa area mo. Will tag our community managers baka makatulong nelskib paulos

                    zyper95Hopefully, magrant ung request na iwaive ung installation fee ko. I've followed up my inquiry kc this morning. And the guy said na nirequest nya na iwaive since hindi naman ako nag apply ng new account. And ini.insist ko rin yun, I even told them na cge wag nio na lang palitan ng DSL toh connection ko but make sure na maayos internet ko. Kase kung may additional payment rin nman ako wag n lang kc sobrang lugi na ako sa knila. And this January lang dn kase ako nainstallan ng Globe, meaning di ko pa naeenjoy ung service ng ganun katagal. Sayang ung binayaran ko ng installation fee para sa wireless internet, 1 payment na lang fully paid na ako sa P1000. Then eto na naman panibagong installation fee. hehehe!! Ang odd lang kc iba ibang info ung cnsabi sa akin ng mga CSR nila hindi consistent sa info. Anyway, salamat po pala sir!

                        Don't worry di lang ikaw nakaka-experience ng ganyan sa mga CSR ng Globe, it's either baguhan yung nakausap mo at hindi alam ang gagawin sa ganyang sitwasyon. Tama yung isang naka-usap mo dapat talag i-waive yung installation kasi sila ang may mali hindi ikaw. Ang kailangan naman nila is gawan yun ng report at i-explain ng tama ng CSR dun sa report bakit kailangan i-waive yung installation fee at indicate nya na as per onsite tech kailangan ng change of service due to network congestion for wireless approve agad yan. Nung first time ko rin sa Globe same issue din na experience ko this was the first time nag offer ng broadband ang Globe (Speak N Surf time pa ang pinaka unang broadband nila...hahahaha ) naka-ilang change of service ako nun from a CDMA connection to WiMax to 3G then lastly to DSL nung available na sya dito samin. Lahat ng installation fee was waive and I even got may rebate for the network issues from the time I'm using the CDMA which ang total halos pang 4 months fee. Ayun yung first 4 months ko nung DSL libre ako. hehehehe.

                            I've follow up my concern ulet this morning. sad to say walang DSL sa area namin.  They gave me an option it's either ipa-terminate q n lang daw account ko pero iwawaive nila ung termination fee or hintayin q n lang daw marepair ung tower, on going nman daw na ung pagrerepair. Not sure though qng repair nga tlga or mag tatayo ng additional n tower. And they can't assure qng kylan matatapos or kylan mggwa ung additional tower. Sabi q, qng ipapaterminate ko luge pa rin aq kase imagine nagbayad na ako ng installation fee+ wireless landline and kylan lang naman kami nkabitan ng Globe last January lang. Di ko pa naeenjoy ung service at di ko pa nassulit ung binayad ko tapos terminate na. I asked for adjustment na lang, good thing ung CSR n nkausap ko pnrocess ung request ko. Wala nmn kc sya option for not doing it. They can't fix my connection problem nor change my service to DSL. Kya irerebate n ung 1 month bill ko pero next billing cut off pa magrereflect. 1299 kc ung plan ko pero magbabayad p rin aq next billing cut off ng P532 , kc recurring bill ko P1831 eh dahil nga sa ongoing n pagbabayad n installation fee at wireless landline ko. Stressful ung internet ko ngyon even ireset mo many times ung router snail pa rin ung connection worst di kn tlga mkkpagbrowse. Masipag ka cguro mag report at magcomplain noh? hehe! ako kase most of the times tinatamad na ako tumawag kc tama ka may mga times n makakausap mo eh baguhan lang who doesn't know or sure how to address the issue, salita ka ng salita ung kabilang line tahimik lang. hehe! Oh the CSR also mentioned na possible reason din daw kaya mabagal net ko kc naexceed ko n ung CAP LIMIT ko. LOL! Weird lang kc night shift ako, magbbrowse lang aq pagkauwi ko pero sobrang saglit lang kc mttulog na ako. Youtube and FB lang nmn usually bnbrowse ko. Inask ko qng ilan ung limit 30 gb lang daw?
