    Retain Number | Change SIM Issue

      My prepaid SIM card was accidentally lost last March 30. I was able to submit my affidavit of loss to Globe at Shangri-la Plaza. They gave me a new SIM and told me to wait for 24 hours before inserting it in my phone to be activated.

       

      The reason they gave is that the Globe system for retaining of numbers is currently down or having problems. I visited Globe at Greenbelt 4 and Glorietta yesterday. Both branches stated that the system is still down. I already visited three Globe stores and this is taking too much time to just activate the new SIM card.

       

      Is there an easier way to know when will the Globe's system for retaining of mobile numbers be available again?
